Children and Youth.
The Manna Children's Church and Youth staff are a dedicated team who have a passion for all young people to know Jesus. Years of combined experience go towards the efficient running of the department.

From Toddlers to Teens, the programmes are set out to follow the same format as the Adult services and run concurrently with them. From Praise and Worship, to Communion, Offering, Ministry and Altar time, and works of service, the young people of Manna are "trained up in the way they should go" (Proverbs 22v6). We do this to ensure that as they reach adulthood, their training through the years at Manna, will ensure the natural phasing into the life and the ministry of the adult services.

Childrens' Church.
The children are offered a vibrant programme full of fun and action. We believe that children should be excited about serving the Lord and enthusiastic about attending church, so we offer a fun filled, action packed programme that caters for their every need.
Our Bible based curriculum is run on a yearly theme which provides atmosphere and real life examples of everyday situations.
The children are encouraged to become involved by serving in all the different aspects of ministry in the church and to participate in regular incentive programmes for scripture memorization.

Toddlers.
The Toddlers also join in for Praise and Worship in the Children's Church, but leave to attend a special program set out especially for them. Excellent facilities are available to them in the form of a climbing frame, sandpit and various activities aimed at their specific age group. Christian dvd's are also shown as an alternative to outside playtime.

Tweens.
After participating in the Praise and Worship in the Children's Church, the "inbetweeners" (Ages 11 - 14 Years) leave to attend their own class with lessons specifically aimed at their age group. Vibrant, fun and high action lessons are planned for this age group to cater for their endless energy and strong desire for "action".

This special class was started to help with the transition from Children's Church to Teen Church. This group are not children anymore, but are not quite old enough to relate to the Teenagers. It has proven to be one of the most successful projects the Children's Church has undertaken. The young Tweens thrive in this class as they are given time to mature at their own pace.

Teen Church.
This is is for the age group of 15 Years to Young Adult. The programme is run in an atmosphere specifically set out to make the young people feel comfortable. They are encouraged to enter into young, lively and upbeat Praise and Worship, led by their very own band, "Deep Rooted". The word is given by people who have a heart for youth and addresses many of the challenges and everyday stresses that young people face.

Following the service, the Teens have a "Coffee Bar" where they can fellowship together, either playing pool, table soccer, jamming with the band, watching a  music dvd or just "chilling" with their friends. This works well as most of the time their parents are spending time at the "Lapa" after the service, drinking coffee and making new friends.

Deep Rooted.
"Deep rooted" is a relatively new band that has come together to serve the need for Manna Teen Church. It is comprised of a number of gifted young people who have a heart to serve the Lord. They are very open to new people joining in; in fact this is encouraged when they have a 15 minute "Jam Session" every Sunday morning following the service, to which all who are interested in becoming a part are invited. They have written and produced a number of their own songs, which have been warmly received as song items in the adult service. For a young person who is interested in music and plays an instrument there would be ample opportunity for them to be incorporated into the band.

The "MAC"
The Manna Action Centre (The MAC) is a place where young people can "hang out" with their friends in an environment which offers high action fun, energetic sports and team challenges.

At 18h30, it's the turn of the older age group, Grade 8 - 12. As Christian Rock music is pumped out over the speaker system and live dvd's of successful Christian bands are played on the big screen in the Action Centre, the Teenagers move in for a night of high energy fun.

Skilled skaters man the Skatepark and encourage other young people to try out their skills. Skateboards and helmets are available for hire. Indoor team soccer, basketball and volleyball challenges are also arranged on a regular basis, with small prizes offered as rewards. These young teens are entertained through the evening by a DJ who announces activities over the intercom, interviews Christian people on a regular basis and who generally keeps these evenings running with reminders of who Jesus is. A special room is set aside for the young people to talk about Jesus, receive ministry and counsel and to hear about the good things Jesus does in people's lives.

A tuckshop is available at the MAC all the way through the evening. Besides ice-cold drinks, chips and tuck, a wide range of fresh food is offered to the Teens, so it even saves Mom from cooking on a Friday night!
